About Pragathi Defence Academy
Pragathi Defence Academy of Defence Careers was established in Visakhapatnam in the year 1998 with the aim of training young aspirants for joining the commissioned ranks of the three wings of armed forces i.e. Army, Air Force and Navy.
We cater to all the three branches of the Indian Armed Forces helping you prepare for a wide range of entries across the board. Our SSB coaching program covers a wide spectrum of tests, including Screening Test, Psychological Tests, Group Testing including outdoor and indoor tasks such as Military Planning, Group Discussions and Public Speaking etc. We also prepare you for Interviews and PABT.
We have a success rate of over 80% !
Youth form every corner of the country, and every strata of our vast and varied society come forth to join the academy. Regardless of their back ground, in the two years we re-cast these young men onto the path as a warrior to meet the challenges of the 21st Century warfare on land, by sea, in air and also in the fourth dimension of cyber space. Above all we provide them the ethical motivation, which makes them morally sound.
Free workshops
With a view to instill the spirit of adventure and patriotism as well to spread awareness in the young generation about the various opportunities available in the armed forces, the institute conducts free workshops on 'Careers in Armed Forces' in selected educational institutions.
